Family & Caregiver Support

Caring for the aging adult is not always easy. In fact, it can be very difficult on an older adult’s family and friends. Dementia, memory loss, or the physical needs of frail older adults can easily affect the entire family.

Care, compassion, education, and understanding are all critical, but when a loved one has been diagnosed with the early stages of dementia, it can be extremely difficult for those involved to cope with the overwhelming emotions.

Aging Interventions Family and Caregiver Support

At Aging Interventions, we’ve created a process we call Total Family Care™. It’s designed to help offer support not only for the older adult, but also for family, friends, and the medical and professional providers involved.

By communicating with all of the parties involved, we are able to provide optimum support for older adults, their families, and the entire care team. Total Family Care™ doesn’t need to be a one-time occurrence. Dr. Brink and the Aging Interventions team are available for support on an on-going basis, whenever someone in the extended family or care team is in need.
